xr0500 Posted March 17, 2011 Report Posted March 17, 2011 Hey Guys, New here and just purchased my first KE20 1973, like the title says 25,000 original miles, owned by an elderly lady from new, she drove it up until ten years ago when she lost her license, the car was then stored in a garage up until two months ago when she passed and left the car to her son who sold it to me. It has the original dealer sticker, original number plates, original spare tyre, tool roll etc... and it drives so well too Let me know what you think? Quote
abbott Posted March 17, 2011 Report Posted March 17, 2011 mate that is absolutely awesome! don't do a thing to it just drive it! we all dream of finding something like this and youve done it! Quote
67Rolla-Ken Posted March 17, 2011 Report Posted March 17, 2011 ... :blinks: wow I'm finding it very hard to accept that a 38 year old car with a 5 digit odometer is on it's first trip round... but she sure looks the real deal! Fantastic find. Quote

Fantastic find. Thats exactly what i first thought and then i thought about it for a while and figured if it had gone around once the car would have done 125000 miles (200,000kms) and i just can't see this car has done that many K's.... Anyway, I'm new to this old rolla thing and need to know where to pick up parts such as gearbox boot (perished) and internal door handles (both broken)?? Edited March 17, 2011 by xr0500 Quote
KP61 Posted March 17, 2011 Report Posted March 17, 2011 it'd be 102.5k wouldn't it? so so so so sooooo nice one can only dream to be as lucky as you my friend. Quote
abbott Posted March 17, 2011 Report Posted March 17, 2011 (edited) as much as i hate to agree with him kp61 is absolutely right didn't even think about it! unless its original 2500 miles its 102,500 which is probably more likely! Edited March 17, 2011 by abbott Quote
ke20rolla Posted March 17, 2011 Report Posted March 17, 2011 (edited) This would be 102,500 miles not 25,000 miles. Looks clean and it's in Tassie. Edited March 17, 2011 by ke20rolla Quote

KEhendo Posted March 17, 2011 Report Posted March 17, 2011 it's 102557 miles. the last number is a fraction. so it comes out to just over 165000kms. still quite low for a 38 year old car. look after it. Quote
