Jansku99 Posted March 16, 2011 Report Posted March 16, 2011 Hello! I have an Toyota Corolla KE15, LHD model (Like all here in Finland) and bought Dual Carbs (3K-B Carbs and intake manifold). After that I found out an little problem: As my car is LHD, brake master cylinder is on same side and dual carbs intake manifold doesn't have enough space. How have you guys fixed this problem? Any pics would be helpful! P.S. How about 2 lined brake master cylinders? Are there any that fit somehow? I'm littel scared aput the fact that if ANY brake line breaks, I have no brakes AT ALL... Thank you in advance! Some Pics: Dual Carbs and manifold Dual Carbs and manifold Brake master cylinder Not much space here =( Quote
altezzaclub Posted March 16, 2011 Report Posted March 16, 2011 A lot of cars are built for both drivng sides, they put the master cylinder on one side and if the driver is on the other they put a pipe across the firewall and a couple of levers. Have a hunt through the wrecking yards and see how they do it. Quote
tojo2 Posted March 23, 2011 Report Posted March 23, 2011 I found a new dual system brake master from a ke18 on ebay US. Hoping it will fit on my ke17 for a upgrade. Bias is probably wrong as I think its for drum front and rear tho Quote
