sidewaysvc Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 Gday all ive came accross a standard ke20 tacho dash I'm just wondering what it would be worth and would it be a straight in no mods like the ke70 dashes. Any help or suggestions would be good cheers. cheers charlie Quote
KEhendo Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 which style is it? the ke20 SL's had a bar or slide tacho attached to the top of the dash pad in the middle. the only other one i know of are the te27 dash that change it from two bezels of the same size to a 3 bezel facia with two large and a smaller one in the middle. i'm unsure of what plugs in and what doesn't. maybe parrot/tally could shed some light on this. KEhendo Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 looks like a te27 dash to me. as i say, not sure of it plugs in or what they are worth but i'd love on for my car. Quote
sidewaysvc Posted March 7, 2011 Author Report Posted March 7, 2011 what would it be worth do you guestimate it at? Its for sale for 250 is it worth that ive only just got my ke20 (friday) and it popped up and i want it just don't know if its worth that kind of money? Quote
parrot Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 This is a TE27 dash cluster. They routinely sell for about $450 if in good condition. Quote
Raven Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 Definitely TE27. I have two complete sets as well. :) Quote
parrot Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 Hard to tell but it looks like the tripmeter knob is a little damaged. No biggy. Try to get a look at the rear of it and make sure their is no obvious damage to the circuits etc. But probably good buying at that price, assuming it works. Quote
sidewaysvc Posted March 7, 2011 Author Report Posted March 7, 2011 ok so at that price i should buy it? and even if i decide it to go in the too hard basket i will be able to make a couple of quid. oh will it slap straight in? Oh and the center bit that part what would that be worth he want 300 for that? Quote
parrot Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 That's about right. Although the broken tab at the top makes it less desirable and the condition doesn't look amazing, although that could be the photo. Pretty common for them to snap there. Good bargaining chip, especially if you buy both. There is some small fiddling reconfiguring your wiring, covered elsewhere on rollaclub from memory Quote
sidewaysvc Posted March 7, 2011 Author Report Posted March 7, 2011 yeah I'm really keen on the tacho dash not heaps keen on the center bit but would be cool even for later on when fully hectic guages are needed. Yeah your right good bargaining tool does look a bit crap condtion doesnt it. Do you know what needs to be swapped over to make the tacho dash work? Quote
parrot Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 Search around, it's on here somewhere. Just swapping a few wires and adding a tacho feed. Quote
coln72 Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 (edited) Used to have one that I picked up for $25  You need to swap a couple of wires from memory in the plug that goes to the loom. Details here clicky Edited March 7, 2011 by coln72 Quote
