GreeNRockeT Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 heyy... got a all orginal 1.2 ltr ke30 and was just wondering about my engine i have a sr20de sitting in my front yard doing nothing.. was thinking about chucking that in but i see everyone seems to have that conversion and why? would it be better if i left the 1.2 ltr in and worked on that? this car only has 60000kms on it and the sr20de has 180000kms I'm realy looking at what would be more beifical for my car cheerz Quote
BUZ440 Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 Chris it all depends on what you want out of the car, and if you have the patience, time and money to do the conversion, havin EFI, bit of poke in her go for it but don't look past a 4K engine either, even the standard engine can breathe alot better, and just plot around Why you ask, i put the DET engine with some extra goodies, and went all out on mine, cage, seats, diff, brake upgrades cause I liked the shape and the ease of parts for the SR20, I'm never gonna get the money back but i know what i wanted, and i know what she can do and the 550kmn out of a tank of fuel is a bonus Quote
GreeNRockeT Posted March 7, 2011 Author Report Posted March 7, 2011 EFI? explain please? well i got alot of time. this car I'm going to keep for the rest of my life. now u say the 4k engine? what is this? XD is this a engine in another rolla? first time ived used a fourum bear with me XD Quote
