Rob 5000 Posted March 4, 2011 Report Posted March 4, 2011 At work today at 11.25am (someone seen the 2 blokes who did it) fella I work with had the 3k wheels and tyres stolen from his car. There are 3 car parks next to each other and all were almost full at the time. This is how we found it when I walked out to the car park with him after he got a call from a co-worker saying his wheels were gone. Quote
Evan G Posted March 4, 2011 Report Posted March 4, 2011 i wish it was a commodore, another reason to put hetick stockies on bro! but in all seriousness poor c**t, i would loose my shit if that happen to my car Quote
Raven Posted March 4, 2011 Report Posted March 4, 2011 can't get my wheels off. Need the right size socket for it! Quote
Evan G Posted March 4, 2011 Report Posted March 4, 2011 raven i saw that at GOR, arent like 14mm wheel nuts? never seen such small wheelnuts in my life! Quote
SLW42 Posted March 4, 2011 Report Posted March 4, 2011 oh shit thats a c**t act aye...... What sorta asshole does shit like that, oh well just go looking for an au with recently newly aquired wheels that you know they could never afford, Is that a ts50 bodykit? Or just a xr kit with ts50 wing? Hope he find the pricks who did it mate and gives them 3grands worth of bodily damage Quote
Rob 5000 Posted March 4, 2011 Author Report Posted March 4, 2011 its a stock au, with cam and exhaust. His dad pranged it and with the cash from the prang they bought the bodykit. I think its a v8superac body kit, def not a ts50 Quote
jimmy-d Posted March 4, 2011 Report Posted March 4, 2011 A real prick of an act by a pack of c##nts! You'd want to undo their nuts with the appropriate size socket! Quote
philbey Posted March 4, 2011 Report Posted March 4, 2011 Did he have anti theft nuts on them or not? Quote
Rob 5000 Posted March 5, 2011 Author Report Posted March 5, 2011 yes it had lock nuts on it. 20" rims with new tyres Quote
coln72 Posted March 6, 2011 Report Posted March 6, 2011 Feel for you mate. Hate it when people do that shit. Like the story locally though. A local bikey had his place done over. Lost cash, jewlery ect. and his BROS MC ring. Well the club found the person who robbed his place....... Lets put it this way, everything that was taken was replaced  Someone tried to do that to an ex gf's KE20. Got to the lock nut and gave up. Still left the rest of the nuts loose. She notices something felt funny on the freeway and found that 3 nuts were missing. Still f@#cked the rim though. Quote
Raven Posted March 6, 2011 Report Posted March 6, 2011 Evan, no idea on size, and if I knew, I wouldnt be posting here :P Quote
carbonboy Posted March 16, 2011 Report Posted March 16, 2011 Thats friggin low...around my area TWO different sets of locknuts are recommended as the bastards have been stealing lock nut kits from auto stores to get the right sockets >| Any pics of missing rims to help people identify them? Quote
eiriksmil Posted March 16, 2011 Report Posted March 16, 2011 It wasn't thieves, it was the style police :) Quote
stable20 Posted March 19, 2011 Report Posted March 19, 2011 poor bugger, if i had expensive rims, i would go to a steel/ metal fabricator and get them to make a special design of lock nut. would cost around the 150 mark but hay its saving C$#ts like that from taking your rims. Quote
