you can get one-way hire trailers from most servo's, best bet would probably be to ring ahead and organise to pick one up in melbourne and return it in adelaide? Then your not wasting fuel pulling an empty trailer over there aswell :hmm: Hope this helped...

You wont be able to do a one way trip with a trailer it will cost you a shitload. Same with hiring cars, one way trips are mega expensive.

Do what I did, which is pretty dodgy and you're gonna want to make sure the trailer is in good operable condition with good tyres if you're even considering doing this.

 

Hire a trailer, tell them you're not taking it out of the Metro area so its cheaper, take it interstate to get car, bring it back within said time frame, done.

 

Risky, very risky, and I wouldnt do it again, but its a dodgy option and if you're tight on cash....?

the hardware store in nairne sa rents them for like 50 a day, and they are epic trailers, we got one on the friday and returned it on the monday for $50.. because he wasnt open on the weekend..
