philbey Posted June 22, 2011 Report Posted June 22, 2011 They're 10b/11 indicators. I cracked a factory one on mine, chrome was still good, so I bought the Thai ones and fitted them. Look alright but they fade in sunlinght. Old ones look much sleeker but I've never seen a repro one. Quote

It worried me that even with the head off the block would still not spin more than 180 degrees So i pulled the off, and out came this shit? Basically like beach sand/ rocks.. Thinking it might be some stop leak crap or something as it was all in the water system Turns out, there was water in one cylinder which had rusted the rings and virtually siezed one of the pistons. (number 3) So entire rebuild is now on, block is being honed, 32/36 weber being bought + extractors to have a decent n/a motor while i source the turbo and efi gear Quote
