So marks go in for my Tafe course tomorrow so i'll guess i'll see if i've passed!

Tomorrow this is copping an oil change, as the oil would be 5 years old atleast..

Go round an set the timing, points, check plug gaps etc as i haven't bothered since i got it. Also got to do up bellhousing bolts.

And to avoid a ranty facebook status i'll rant here.

Sick to death of getting "Jelous" statements. This is usually in reply to when a mate buys a rice as fark s14 or wrx and i say that it's not really my thing.

How does that make me jelous? I'd honestly rather my ke10 over any of them any day. My blood and sweat has gone into this and i can proudly say i built it when i'm finished.

I see a silvia or wrx everyday but i haven't one ke10 on the streets of tasmania in atleast 10 years..

So, No. Not jelous, I'd just rather have a car built from steel rather than plastic, cable ties and leb spec rims.

#End rant.

Herro!

Still awaiting e-go to do it's job and deliver a box of awesome to my house

But, I've been doing a bit of bodywork, mostly final touch, as you can see i've been giving some spots a go with spray putty.

The green is looking good! It's a bit pale in some lights so i'll drop some more olive drab in it until i like it but.. A lot better than it was!

Also considering buying a set of 4x110 to 4x114.3 1" hub adapters and selling 2 off just so i can run my wheels on the back until i get a new diff.

But here's some pics, Thoughts? also included is the bottom of my drivers door :/ hammered it straight-ish today with a rubber mallet but still needs work.

Cheers dude! Yeah pretty keen to get it all fitted up and the vynals on the door

My box of awesome arrived yesterday ;)

I also realise i need to stay away from ebay as i had an impulse buy on about $40 worth of stickers last night.. stupid idea

Nice work man, she's coming along nicely.

Love the colour - I'm thinking about painting my RN25 something similar....will this be staying matt/satin?

Keep up the good work!

Cheers dude!

I'm still thinking about gong a little darker.. as it's darker in photo's than it is in person, depending on the light..

But i don't want it to look muddy or dirty so i'm thinking i might leave it before i destroy it..

Still a bit of bodywork left, quite a bit actually.. Hoping to hit it with the gun sometime in january..

I have to pull the windscreen out to fix the rust, just hoping it wont explode.. :/

I have a rather big list of stuff for this that has to be done before rego which i'll throw up on here at somepoint

Also made a sidepipe yesterday to make it more neighbour friendly :lolcry:

How're you going with your ke10 by the way? Haven't seen any updates for a while

Not too much has happened on this lately. Due to birthdays/ parties/ shenanigans etc

Not too much left bodywork wise, few dents, drivers guard needs finishing, as does the bottom of the drivers door, a little rust spot on the deck lid and then just doing something about the rust around the windscreen.

Moneys tight i realised, and it's not financially viable to turbo the 5k at this point in time, so the turbo kit and k-t are being sold off.

I've sourced a k50 locally rather cheaply and the 5k will just cop what i have left, ie solid lifter conversion, 32/36, double chain, get a mild cam and extractors and that'll do for now.

I also went to my mates and got a pair of ke70 struts with rusty as feck brakes to put on this, pulled the whole drivers assembly off and realised the dustshields and caliper brackets from a ke70 wont fit a ke10. I've sourced ke55 one's but it might be a while before i can be bothered driving that far to get them :lolcry:

So i'll take photo's as i do it and throw up something about how to convert them to disk as i'm often getting asked about it.

Not too much will be done on this for atleast the next week or 2, as it's my 18th monday, and i've already been roped into hitting the town on wednesday, friday, saturday and an 18th sunday :lolcry:

I estimate it will be ready to spray end of this month, and sprayed early january.

I'll be bombarding this thread with pics soon, i'm just a little over bodywork, can't wait to start something more exciting :lolcry:

Cheers, Jono

Cheers!

Yeah no rush, I'd love it done though, You have no idea how long i've wanted a ke10.. From car magazine in grade 1-2 from memory, sky blue ke10.. fell in love

I get more motivated to work on it when it seems to be progressing, like some days i walk around it and just cannot be bothered.. it's like, where do i start?

But once it's painted and put back together i'll get moving on it pretty flat out

Hoping to have it completed in Build 1.0 by mid to late next year
