LukeAE71 Posted February 24, 2011 Report Posted February 24, 2011 (edited) Check out my new daily..... I'm the first to admit that I have never been a fan of FWD Corollas. I am however a fan of Corolas. I sold my yellow KE70 tonight so this thing will be on daily duties for the moment. The stats: AE93 SX Hatch 1991 Model 4AGE Smallport :) 5 Speed Cold Air Con 220,000 ks (to me it drives more like its done 130xxx ks. definitely been looked after) Alarm & Central Locking CD/MP3 Player Excellent service history with plenty of receipts etc Here is the pic from the ad, more pics after the weekend when I get back from my 30th bash. I'm going to blame the temporary insanity of buying this thing on my impending 30th Birthday. Edited April 3, 2011 by LukeAE71 Quote

LukeAE71 Posted March 8, 2011 Author Report Posted March 8, 2011 I'm thinking of a style something along the lines of this car I've located the roof racks, I just need the wheels and some carbon fibre look vinyl for the bonnet. Oh and some low. I'm trying to decide between wide white steelies or a low offset alloy wheel. I'm currently looking into these wheels - TIGHT fitment!! That car is too low or something and I think they need a white centre against the red car. Don't know yet! Quote
GJM85 Posted March 8, 2011 Report Posted March 8, 2011 (edited) I've got a seca, giving it to my sister soon.... don't go any bigger than a 15in rim or you'll lose all that good fwd flat throttle handling ability... doesn't mean you can't go low. my brother had a pulsar with 17's. turning corners was a bitch and giving it pedal in a corner just ment chatter and understeer. the red rocket left it for dead in corners. LukeAE71 Posted March 10, 2011 Author Report Posted March 10, 2011 So here are some pictures of some different looks I'm toying with... Maybe not quite that low and with a carbon look bonnet. Or Not that mexican of course. If anyone knows where to get wide steelies in 4 x 100 I would love to know. I have googled and googled and googled some more and nothing turns up. That one there looks like its running more than 4 stud so must have some spacers or some shit. Or This is kind of my favourite for the moment. Simple clean lines but stylish. With the exception of the black guard which has aids... A penny for your thoughts??? Quote
Des Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 Don't Gemini's run 4x100 ? I'm liking the direction your taking this car. Quote

It just kind of... happened  Quote
benzo Posted March 11, 2011 Report Posted March 11, 2011 Or just keep it as is and daily, lol. Don't make it all hipster. Quote

It just kind of... happened  Sorry, I just have a burning dislike for any Honda with 4 wheels, save for the NSX. It comes out every now & again  I know the feeling, no plans are made to purchase something but for some reason things just magically appear in the house/garage/shed & large amounts of money go walkabouts from your bank account  I believe that Geminis do/did run a 4x100 stud pattern, so rims for those are perfect for our use  Quote
