no, all toyota splines are the same

bah should proof read my posts before hitting submit i ment to say I'm gathering it doesn't. Bought a nardi wheel but after removing stock wheel and using the ex's boss kit on the nardi wheel it sits at annoying height etc. might see if i can palm it off for a mr2 or ae82 sx wheel.

hmmm.....interesting....

i just realised that i could probably use a nice later style toyota wheel instead of my shitty dented woodgrain one.....and it would be adr approved....

however i've known for a while that all toyota splines are the same.....why did i only think of that then.....lol

Clown: If the wheel sits too close to the indicator stalk, try looking for an AE86 boss. They use a similar steering column and the boss should be longer.

Xany: The splines are the same but the little holes for the plastic knobs to make the self cancelling indicators work are different on some models. I drilled a couple of little holes in my AE86 boss kit to bolt it onto the cressida. otherwise it works fine.

In the hilux I run an Autotechnica woodgrain wheel I've had since I was 18. The boss kit was designed for an ae82 it has also run on my ae86 and now serves on hiluxes after I drilled two extra holes for the indicator switch off thingies. I had a Momo in the Datsun that I picked up at the importers for $120.
