Have heard of a 180b engine in a ke70 but don't know about sump, engine height etc etc,may have been some mods required.Sure it could be done though there are certainly better options..

Better Options?.....Maybe

However, if your into Rotaries and are dead keen on one then theres no other decision to be made.

Anything is possible, so go make an appointment with an engineer and go discuss it. He/She will either knock it on the head or give you the go ahead. Worry about it after that.

isn't a 13b classed as a 2.something L size engine an you can only have a 1.8L turbo engine or something like that.

If that doesnt make sense sorry really tired out of my normal sleeping pattern.

I'm pretty sure a rotors capacity is doubled if it is turboed, for rego purposes.

13b - 2.6L

20b - 4.0L

Any rotor conversion is double regardless of aspiration.

you might want to think long and hard before you go putting a 20B in a corolla.

a 20B half cut is up around 6k? or so? maybe more.

and to make that work remotely well, your talking a big diff, big brakes, good suspension, wide tyres. i would probably put a cage in etc. you are probably talking $20-$25k of parts and fabrication alone (ie stuff you can't do with out specific tools, roll cages)....thats FD rx7 purchasing territory.

if you are keen to spend that sort of money....i would be putting the 20B into something much nicer than a ke55! (no offence to you ke55 lovers). build up an old rx3 or something, will cost you more, but will be worth ALOT more when you are finished than an old ke55.

if your keen on the rotor (which thers a good reason to be) maybe aim for a 13B, soooo much cheaper. and the power you get out of them is PLENTY for a little ke55. certainly not as cool as a 20B thats for sure, but a whole lot more economically viable....

just my oppinion anyway.
