GJM85 Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 Is that in the Numinbah Valley? Looks like awefully familiar scenery... Quote
Nostalgia Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 Oh wow, that thing's amazing! I love the early 20s too. Is the front on choppies? Quote
abel00 Posted February 6, 2011 Author Report Posted February 6, 2011 yeah you don't see many of the early ones and i picked it up cheap. i was quite lucky. no its in the royal national park in sydney. yeah the rear is reset and the front chopped by previous owner. Quote
SkidzMgee Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 Tough looking front grille, and lucky you on the cheap pick up price. Stuff what the others say, get lower :P Start fires with scraping  Quote
abel00 Posted February 7, 2011 Author Report Posted February 7, 2011 lowered the rear today, ummmm maybe too much. it has reset leaves already n i put in 1.5 inch blocks. now it sits on the diff and bangs over every bump. any ideas? Quote

The stance already looked good man, i wouldn't of lowered the rear anymore, if it was me i would of pulled the front down an inch. I would raise it back up, there is no cost effective method to fix it, your just smashing on the bump stops again and again, some super short shocks might help but its never going to be remotely comfortable. Troy thanks for the reply mate but the photos are a lil decieving, they make it look lower than what it is. but maybe your right i might take the blocks out. and yeah I'm going to drop the front just didnt have time today. cheers Quote
RA28GT Posted February 7, 2011 Report Posted February 7, 2011 It must be fair low if your hitting the bump stops all the time, my old 20 was pretty low in the rear and I didn't hit bump stops very often at all. See: Quote
abel00 Posted February 8, 2011 Author Report Posted February 8, 2011 yeah it was, took the blocks out today and getting them cut down. hopefully will b all good this time. oh and by the way really like ur 2010 rolla of the year too. :y: Quote
