I think i might just get some! :( the 17's i had did look impressive but made the car a bitch to drive. glad to be rid of it. my 2gen MX6 is soooo much more fun..hehe :jamie: Quote
Rolln16 Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 :jamie: Sorry.... the 17's i had did look impressive but made the car a bitch to drive but how so....??? Quote
Tiki6 Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 too large, and guards weren't rolled properly, was always scrubbing on stupid bumps in the road that it shouldn't have. come to think of it, that car was pretty screwed underneath, had lots of problems with the struts etc. so maybe that was the problem?? Quote
Rolln16 Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 Oh okay then - nothing to really worry about but thanks for the warning... am planning to get the guards done professionally....not that i'm saying you didnt...thanks again... and yes maybe the underneath part was your problem and not the rims as Rolla Boy had no problems with his... Tiki6 Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 i don't know who put them on i bought it like that. definitely get the guards done professionally! looks very impressive with 17' had low profile tyres on mine too which added to 'the look' unfortunately i was given bad advice and picked up a lemon. but you should definitely do it, and don't let anyone touch it unless you are 100% sure they know what they are doing!
