drove her around for a few minutes today realy realy realy need to get a boost gauge becuse i have no idea what the boost controler is set at whatever it its on is fare from 10 psi its steeping out in the dry when you hit boost in 3rd with ease at 50 60 ish :rolls: might need a bit of work done to it the dipstick tube if floating around cuz its not sealed in there properley

 

and that f@$king cooler has got to go (to the front) but yeah will defintatly need some checking over before it goes in the white one wont idle at all and cuts out some time at hi revs over then that it goes like a shower of shit :yes:

looks like a pretty good buy t18drifts.

 

i love the cooler setup, that is fantastic. has backyard mechanic written all over it.

 

its one step up from a J pipe arrangement. admitedly a small step....

 

i was half expecting a hole in the bonnet after seeing the engine bay pic!

haha yeah decent find I'm pretty happy

 

top mount intercooler/heater will go it will trust me i hate bonnet scoops just waiting untill the hoist is free at my mates house

i only have the engine mounts and tailshaft and clutch to undo to remove the motor will be at at again tomoro night :)

 

oh and if you look close enough to the turbo to intake pipe on the turbo its nice and black seals are well gorn

um yeah preferabley before the jap car day but there is a need to get hold of a timing cover gasket sump gasket cam cover gasket and a few more little things i will need to sort out.

 

 

 

been haveing very long thoughts on getting it regoed with this motor better in the long run cuz the day will come when i will have a run in with the blue :fuzz:

 

 

any way UPDATE TIME: got a nissan sr20 mani and t25 bush bearing peice of poo but its better then the f@$ked stock ct20 i have the motor is out a lot of gaskets are leaking wich i will need to change also a tad short on cash after the purchase off another car. >|

okay this may sound really dumb but I'm tired.

 

what are you gonna use the sr20 Mani for? haven't you got a 3t?

 

I know I've missed something just can't put my finger on it haha

the stock turbo mani is crap it got some cracks and it old and the flange were the turbo goes on only take the ct20 and mine crapped itself about 20mm oh side to side shaft play so instead of paying 770 for it to be rebuilt I'm making an adapter plate so i can put i better flowing sr turbo mani and that has better turbos that will bolt straight on and ball bearing ones not bush bearing :)

 

all better in the long run :happy:

UPDATE: last night got the 3tc out of charity/the te72 removed the front end from allie ( coils bigger brakes ect )

 

hopefully will have the 3tgte all cleaned up and shmik ready to go in by friday if the adapter plate is done in time. then will need to get a dump pipe and sort out the exhoust and fuel pump might pay to clean and respray the engine bay will nothings in it. :rolls:
