rayvella Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 Hi I know the panels from a flat front are interchangeable with slantys, But Ive tried looking for a guide if someone has already done a flat front conversion and no luck if any could tell me the exact process it would be a big help and do I have to cut off the radiator support panel off a flat front in order to get it off thank You all Raymond Quote
CodyTravers Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 I'm going to do the same thing. Mine was a 1984 Slanty and a mate sold me his parts for the Flat Front conversion. It should be fairly straight forward because they were already mounted on his Slanty. We had to pull them off again. I'm putting these Flat Front parts on (majority of my front end was buggered): F.F panels, F.F bonnet, stone tray, the a/c strip thing, F.F grill and headlights and a bumper. Cheers Cody. Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 (edited) Prob go Bonnet Lights Grill Bumper Stonetray Apron in front of W/S Inner guard liners if they are still there Guards. Reverse of this to put on. If you need your doors off for any reason good time when you do it as your hinges will be nice and exposed. Also if you plan on flaring your front guards, much easier off the car. Edited January 12, 2011 by blzbub666 Quote
Ben-89 Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 Headlight and grill mounting holes are different on the flat front also. Some people in the past have "unpicked" the flatfront radiator support panel and have welded it straight on so everything fits spot on.. :) Quote
