Queensland Raceway Willowbank comes to life once again when the Carline Mufflers Powercruise #5 returns Friday the 14th to Sunday the 16th of October 2005

All the fantastic event that have made Carline Mufflers Powercruise so famous are all on the Program again such as the Carline CRUISING THE RACETRACK sessions, McKern & Associates OFF-STREET RACING, Torque's Cheap Wholesale Cars POWERSKIDS, Hardcore Racing Components DRIFTING, Trapnell Race Engines BURNOUT COMP, Tyreworks SHOW & SHINE, Lukey Performance Exhaust TWIN DYNO COMP as well as my new favourite event the KV'S Resto & Race Fabrications BIG HITTERS HOUR OF POWER.

KV'S HOUR OF POWER is just that, the toughest and best of the best Drifters, Powerskidders and Off-Street Racers get 1 hour on the track to simply cut sick just for the sake of showing off for the huge crowds. Check out the rest of the cool things happening at this year's Carline Mufflers Powercruise #5.

RJ's world record donut attempt. If there is anyone who want to have a shot at the world record and be officially entered into the record books, we will have 2 other positions open. Call for details or show up Saturday night at the burnout comp and have a shot.

i think it's piss funny to see dedicated drag cars trying to steer around corners, and bogans who have 10 million horsepower but can't drive for shit

a "definitive display of who has the best car" it certainly isn't

Yeah your right on all those points. Most cars i saw were shitboxes with massive motors. hardly any decent show cars at all.

I will be going for a 2 main reasons

- i rarely get time to myself away from work and the responsibilities of my two kids and a wife, i am officially allowed to attend power crusies :D so its my time to vent, can't beat 3 days of camping amongst 100s of modified cars and like minded people, yes add a few beers and differences of opinion might become apparent but nothing that can't be walked away from.

- i have lots of friends with cars with similar performance to mine and its not often that we get to go out and muck around on any strip of road longer than 400meters.
