ive got my old std cut springs from my T18 here if you end up cutting them and want to know how much to cut off.

Trying to keep the car as Legal as possible (at least until I'm on my opens)

Just paint them yellow, haha.

HAHA this is all well and good.. until a traffic cop inspects your car... I'm very happy with these wheels. Starting to turn heads already.

one of those Indian guys that try's to sell you spray on wipe off wax at the servo's approached me this arvo using "this is a nice car!" as an Ice breaker to which i replied... "Yea, but it needs a new paint job before i worry about keeping the current paint clean" :laff:

Handling on corners is much better now

You will need to spend some money on short stroke inserts then otherwise it will be just as illegal as cut springs if there not captive.

Yea, True... I might save for an Extra week or 2 and get AJPS Custom Ordered Springs instead :) and at the same time get New Nothalane Bushes all round & Short Stroke Inserts. this will make a Notable Difference in the Handling as well as having Wider tyres ;)

a mate of mine has offered me a set of 14" MA61's With Advan & Nankang tyres for an Amazing price! haha ill probably be getting these next week

much better, what size tyres are on it?

Someone beat me to them :sob: oh well. I'm still happy with my SSR's i need to Polish and paint the other 2 already and get the Eagle F1's fitted...

so the buckled Rim got me Super Motivated to Paint the other wheels and get the tyres fitted... so heres the progress so far :)

Painted one Center which came out nice, although i did scratch a tiny bit of paint off when putting it back together (this one Was Silver) post-12606-091761600 1298097885_thumb.jpg post-12606-026820600 1298098385_thumb.jpg

So i will have to take it apart and apply another coat... i also put new Valve Core's in both of the Wheels.

I attempted to paint the other center but in the process i wasn't careful enough and let it fall on the face which wrecked the paint i had just applied...

which means I'm going to have to strip it back again and Repaint it...

but I'm happy that its underway/ i also nee to File down the Seats for the Center as they make it very hard to get the centre's in properly

and as for the buckled rim... i hammered it roughly back into shape and i will have to fix it properly, but the tyre on there is stuffed so it will have to be replaced soon

How did the wheel get like that? if you need any tires fitted and your on the northside i can.

Rim + Gutter = Fail :( (Silly me and my driving):bash:

its not so bad though because the center's on those are an inch bigger than the ones i just painted, which means its not really buckled that badly...

ah, hows your wheel alignment? I hit a gutter once with the old 13" jellybeans I had seemed to be ok just stuffed the alignment up.

Also how is yours for play in the steering with the steering box?

I'm yet to bolt them back up and have tyres fitted but before that i still need to file down the seats so the centers slip in and don't have to be bashed or damaged to make them fit..
