Cheers, love chasers, my mate just traded his I'm gonna miss that car. but it got traded in on a nuts RB26 powered S14 so i guess thats a kinda saving grace. also muchly like the number plates.

so the latest update with my cressy that a couple of weeks ago i decided to park behind my father in the driveway as i hadnt planned to hang around long, he then had to leave to help a friend with a flat battery and failed to look before reversing as usually i would park on the road and it didnt quite click i guess.. resulting in this.

 

amazingly it didnt damage anything more than the bar and reo and broke one clip on the grill but the rest just kinda poped out.

 

so then i went on the hunt, well more adash went on the hunt and found a bar that was perfectly straight of a one owner overrated 83, only fault the paint on the bar was peeling like crazy..

 

so after some time and alot of effort i had feathered it all out and had it ready for some primer. this side being the worst of it.

 

 

after i got it to work, primed and rubbed i managed to get it in the booth at the end of the day with another camry bar...

 

 

then the following day i scrounged up some silver paint lying around and masked up and chucked it on, i wasnt heaps concerned on colour as the rest of the silver is kinda faded and different all over anyway and ended up using some leftover paint from a 380. took it home on a tuesday and spent a couple hours putting it all back together, most time wasted I'm sure on trying to find the right clips to work on the reo and stuff, then had to pull the old bar off,, which was pretty annoying,, then i got the new one on finally... it isnt 100% sitting right yet but where it ripped out at the side damaged things slightly so i am yet to get it sitting right but it still loooks great!!

 

 

so now i just need to realign it and get new plates as mine is a bit mangled..

Tell me, where did you score the clear side indicators? I'm chasing a couple of sets, one for the side and another to use on the front.

i got the bar realigned and worked out the headlight is slightly pushed back but soon fixed that and now looks great =]

 

i got the indicators from ebay cost about $35 think they were advertised as land cruiser or hilux or something..

Ours are all rather slow compared to your missus' one corty! Even when I get around to bolting the turbo 1uz in I won't be anywhere near as quick!
