I (touch wood) havent had any untoward attention in the couple months i've had the wags on the road.

 

don't often see a clean (well looked after or restored) classic pulled over on the side of the road either..

I've never had someone say anything bad about my car, or the fact that I own a 30 year old corolla. There will always be shit thrown at you for owning a toyota, but ol school corolla's every one loves seeing them. And my car is no prize piece it needs work but that's always a conversation starter, and I mean I've found that everyone loves the ol 2 door pillarless....come on....you know you love it.

 

 

Ke70 owners get shit thrown their way more than others cause it's that kinda car, like a skyline, silvia, subaru, VL, 180sx you know what I mean? (hard to type what is easier talked about in person) And this wasn't a stab at e70 drivers either**

 

I love the pillarless look, when i had my old ta22 celica it used to get looks for both bad and good reasons, mind you it was canary yellow, black and chrome lipped wheels, low and loud, most people stared at it cause of the exhaust.

 

i would honestly love a pillarless car again but really can't even afford to keep the 70 :(

 

i own a ke70 now and i can tell you it draws the wrong type of looks, but the only people that seem to appreciate it are the young P platers that have no idea and think there just a "FULLY SICK DRIFTER ULEH"

everyone loves my car at work! and half of them hace CV8 manaroes, xr6 turbo's etc.... but i spose mine has been tastefully done

wow a lot of feedback there! i have also had the 'why bother' comment a few times, tends to just bounce off now. my bro in laws ke20 used to get looks everywhere it went, it was a real cruiser. also another thing: has anyone ever had to give a bit to any other corolla owners? i have seen plenty that need a kick in the ass for mistreating their cars.
