Yeah they were apparently the buyer was stuffing him around.. so i just went and grabbed them yesterday. I'm thinking of just doing chopped springs in it, Should gain a bit of camber with a 2-3 inch drop in the front i don't want anything ridiculous as this is my daily.

That's the trouble with such a low profile tyre I guess, you need to drop it a decent amount for it to look right!

Sweet daily :y:

185 60's and a 2 inch drop you'll most likely be tucking tyre in the rear and have a small gap in the front.

How do the fronts fit? stick out much? I'm thinking of going a similar size in the future.

If you could post a pic of the front from above would be much appreciated

its pretty marginal on the front but if you line it up from above its maybe a couple mm out the guard.

something is wrong with the other side though.. its sticks out over an inch, checked the offset and they are identical 14x7 +10 .., lined the inside of the wheel up with the grease nipples on the inside and they are the same.. its got me buggered why one sticks out .. maybe a bent strut? look, might have to get it up on a hoist and find out what the go is.. it still drives straight and turns fine.. didn't notice with the stockies because they sit so far inside the guards.

yeah i found out why, i threw in another strut that i have and it fixed it, so the strut must be bent. too bad i couldnt use it though its a different stud pattern.

A few updates though, the 25 has 2 inch lowered springs in the front now looks much better :)

I get the 20 back in a week from the mechanics and I've decided to go carbied 4AGE in the ke26.

1st one is standard height and second is lowered.

just an idea for the rear i flipped second bottom leaf and put it on top and run TRD blue 8 ways. Real good setup, dunno why so much hate on leaf springs...

How's the ride feel with that setup? i was thinking of just buying some tall/fat tyres for the back and just leaving the springs. Only drawback i have with Leaf's is you don't have any camber adjustment.

Oh yeah i'm also doing a 5 speed manual conversion on the 25, the auto is about to blow up.

I had 195/55/15s and it was really bad for street, too wide and big a wheel, now I'm running 185/60/R14x6.5 +10 offset and its perfect, fits just inside the guard with minimal guard roll and just tucks tire

Keep in mind I'm using stock KE25 axles redrilled 4x114.3 as I did try the KE30 axles but they added 10mm track each side so made turning and taking off bit worse.

Ride is real good, just got the shocks on 1 for around town, and bump it up to 4 for runs, flipping leaves does make it a bit stiffer but barely noticeable...

ideally a 175/60/14X6.5 would be ok too..

well u pretty much don't have any option for camber adjustment in the back of any RWD corolla let alone a Leaf spring KE25...

Cheers for that info tally, suspension is next on the list. Installed the K50 over the weekend and I must say it feels like a different car compared to the toyoglide! So much faster.

Damn!! this looks great dude, well done!

As Tally was saying leafs aren't as bad as people portray them. You can fine tune them with added leafs and tramp bars.

keep us posted on the progress suspension wise
