The launch edition of the car will be powered by a 600-horsepower, 540-cubic-inch (8.8-liter) fuel-injected, all-aluminum Merlin/Motion big-block V8.

Baldwin-Motion was the brainchild of the New York Chevy dealer who partnered with Motion Performance to take stock Camaros, Chevelles, Corvettes and Novas and build them into big-block street dominators during the peak of Detroit's pony car era.

"Our new Camaro taps into the heritage, horsepower and high energy of our original 1967-1969 Baldwin-Motion big-block Camaros," said Joel Rosen, who along with Marty Schorr, formed the new strategic business partnership — with Joe Ehrenpreis and Larry Jaworske — called Motion LLC.

The company will market built-to-order, one-off, limited-edition Baldwin-Motion supercars and develop a line of Motion-branded high-performance parts. Although prices won't be announced until the SEMA show, the cars are expected to cost well over $100,000.

Someone give the designers a 6 pack, finally realizing that all people don't like plastic FWD pieces of shite, and there is a market out there for genuine gems like that one. Hell, I'm not a V8 person, but dam ill rate that any day of the week.
