did you have any troubles fitting the '86 kit onto the flat front?? i was thinking about doing the same thing at some point down the track, but i wasn't too sure about fitment etc.

You have to shorten it ALOT to get the front bar to fit mate, cause the 86's have a really long nose,

one thing to say, 5k + locker = wwpv :lolcry:

I'm also needing a new clutch for it too, so if anybody has a spare 5k clutch lying around send me a pm PLEASE with icing sugar and cherries ontop  , if i can't find one i'll just cushioned button it and be done with it

I saw a clutch kit for a ke70 at my local supercheap they wanted to get rid of so they put like $50 on it, should fit the 5k?

Otherwise give direct clutch services a call they beat repcos price by $50 when I bought my exceedy HD cost me $200 for the HD.

so today i was dropping my brother off into the valley for his tafe, which is about a half an hour drive from were i live give or take 5-10 for traffic, and got halfway there and started to hear something scraping along the ground :hmm: , without thinking too much about it i kept driving (there was a truck next to me at the time),

as i was going along the story bridge it was banging, scrapping and carrying on as i went over the drains on the bridge, so i pulled over and got under the car (not on the bridge mind you) and looked at the exhaust 1st as i thought it had broken hangers and was dragging on the ground :bash: , found the exhaust was fine walked around the back of the car and got undernieth it....

found that the heat sheild for the fuel tank was hanging down and hitting on the road :bash: , WTF how does that happen??????, it was caught inbetween the exhaust and the fuel tank (thank god)

so now my car is falling apart  :bash:
