Chrome Bumpers

Hey, just another noob question I know, but also something I haven't come across on the forums, I can remember I found a thread somewhere with a guy selling quad light set ups and chrome bumper set ups.

 

I really really wanted to get some 'cause they look awesome but the bumpers on my corolla atm are shitty and bent, I was wondering if the chrome bumpers came with like the proper brackets to bolt straight onto the car?

 

And just as a kind of side note, do you need the flat front set up for quads? :/

It depends what you mean by chrome bumpers. A lot of people run T18 bumpers which as far as i know bolt on the front no worries but the rear's need bracket modification. Or if you mean the after market chrome bumpers made specifically for ke70's with the plastic end caps then yes they bolt straight on.

 

And yes you will need a flat front end setup to run the propper quad light front. Although you can make your own quad light setup with the slant front just by taking a trip to the wreckers and getting some early corona headlights and modding the grill.

 

I only have one photo of a slant quad. Could have been done better but it's alright.

 

I qould have run T18 bumpers and 74 rt104 corona headlights and grill with no headlight rings.

btw, are most of the chrome bumpers that are made for ke70s, made for the flat front aswell? :(

yeah, but they still fit slant fronts, its just the plastic end caps are shorter on the sides

If you bought a whole quad set up you'll need a flat front, will make chrome bumpers look better too.

Mmm Don't want want the hassle of swapping out the whole front of the car.. just to fit quads, just to make chrome bumpers look more fitting =/ do yous know anyone that sells alot of bumpers? or where I could find some bumpers to buy? I FINALLY found a front bumper on here, for $20 I messaged the guy like 2 hours after he posted it up and asked him if he could post it and I would pay the postage, and he wouldn't even do that.. I can't find ANY bumpers on here...

you can get legit chrome bumpers from a seller on here from over seas, but i'll cost ya about 600 bucks.

 

otherwise i've heard of ke35/55 (not sure) bumpers fitting with minimal mods

I fit ke30 ones on my car. look pretty good. Zip ties for the rear one till i make proper mounts :laff:

 

 

EDIT: front one was free, rear was 25 bucks. Depends what ya wanna spend bro.
