dave_89 Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 hey guys, my ke55 tail lights are not working and from what i can see there is no reason why... fuses good, bulbs good and all the connections look clean. that is all i know what to look out for. what else could it be? cheers for any suggestions lads. dave :) Quote
jono1986 Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 Do you have power going to the back of the light? Do you have continuity between the earth of the light and the body? If the globes have been replaced are they double filament or single? Do the rest of the parks work? Do the brake lights work? Ummmm..... Quote

dave_89 Posted November 22, 2010 Author Report Posted November 22, 2010 Do the dash lights work? funny that. i was just about to ask, they are also cooked but i never really bothered really Quote
jono1986 Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 ok, so it's either the switch, the relay or the fuse. Quote
dave_89 Posted November 22, 2010 Author Report Posted November 22, 2010 ok lovely. i know the fuse is good (checked it multiple times) as for the relay, where is it located? and would a known working stalk fix the switch problem? thanks heaps Quote
jono1986 Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 You can just unplug it and try, the relay (if even fitted) is underneath that kick panel next to the accelerator pedal. If you have a multi meter check power going into the switch, according to the diagram it could be a white wire or a grey wire or a red/green....this is easier in person. Quote
dave_89 Posted November 22, 2010 Author Report Posted November 22, 2010 thanks heaps for your help mate. Quote
