What motor is in your car now? look on your I.D/VIN plate and it should state the model.

maybe its a TE**, i think alot of the US cars had T series motors.

don't know much about the TE72 but they should have a T50 (check I.D plate. should say tran:T50?)which means your original g/box will bolt up to the 4age :)

Then you need custom engine mounts OR an AE86 engine crossmember. AE86 engine crossmember are for rack and pinion steering though. so maybe look into converting your steering system. Its not that hard from what i've seen.

Also your tailshaft, diff combo should work fine and if your clutch is hydraulic (should be) then your all set.don't need to change anything here.

The rest of the conversion involves an EFI fuel system, wiring and exhaust system.

Is the 4age already in RWD configuration?

actually no, wrong T50

it can be swapped for a ae71/ae86 T50 though with a different/modded tailshaft

^ what is different about the t50's sam? is it the input shaft teeth? that gearbox can still bolt up though..?just need the right clutch/p plate combo?

Man, these things are as rare as rocking horse shit around here. don't molest it too much, in original condition it may be worth a bit. Great score, where abouts are you?

Yeah sam he already ahs the diff and driveline connected so he should be able to swap housings and connect the 4age.

well sort of, the shims and things are different, sure it can be done but it's not easy like a supra box.
