Where Did I See It?

A while a go I saw a picture of an ke/ae rolla with a new dash fitted it was possibly out of mid nineties corolla because it was curvy not like the original square looking dash. Has any one done this or seen what I am talking about?

ive seen it elsewhere too, that was just a google image search of "ae101 dash into ke70"

 

its cool though, he even used the ae101 aircon etc.

My google must suck then. That's the sorta thing I was looking for. Doesn't exactly say what if any mods that were done. I'm thinking of doing the same thing on mine as it will be now be built as show car only so crazy mods are allowed.

what on earth dash is that cuzzo?

 

at first i thought ae92, but I'm not sure it is? looks cool though.

 

there is a newish members ride ke70 drift car (20V turbo) and he has put an s15 dash in it.

 

it looks awesome.

 

where you get an s15 dash i have no idea, half cuts i guess.

Pretty sure its a s15 one too, modified into the ke30 dash surrounds.

On martys one? Yeah pretty sure he said it was a S15 one...it was with the halfcut he got the motor in.

anyone know of a dash that has the same or similar dash measure ments as the ae71? missus has cut the budget so less money to play with

I have a S13 Dash in my KE30,

 

just need to make some brackets, and a shroud and put what ever you want in there also

i think we need to define what you mean by "dash"

 

if you are only talking about the guages, thats the "guage cluster" like nisrola has got there. thats a relatively easy job, figure out how to sho-horn it into where your current guages are, wire it up. winnah.

 

if you are refering to the whole dash (ie like that ae101 dash i posted, or the s15 dash in that one i linked) then that is a much bigger job.

 

just go to the wreckers, with a tape measure and compare the lengths with your ae71 one.

 

nothing is going to bolt in, and whatever you choose is going to be a bit of work. because its not supposed to be there...

 

but with enough time and effort anything will fit.

 

i personally woudlnt bother with either, just clean up what you have.

 

i assume nisrola has some sort of nissan engine in his car, and what he has done is an easy way to get away with too much wiring headache (and speedo cable too). looks good.

4Agte Ke70 dash is definatly a S15 dash without a doubt.
