Spencer[RL] Posted November 4, 2010 Author Report Posted November 4, 2010 Rust loves to work its way down! If you find rust somewhere low down on the car always search above it! How much was the Ke70 off the showroom floor? 930Kg? Mines about 500Kg Now :lolcry: Quote
jimmy-d Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 Small amount above each tail light under the boot lid passenger side rear wheel arch(mild) drivers door under mirror on top face(very small) KE70 slant nose. Quote
MoNsTaR Posted August 16, 2011 Report Posted August 16, 2011 My ae71 panel van had rust in the following locations... Front windscreen surrounds, Bonet, Battery support, Left and right doors, drivers side floor, Tailgate, Tailgate surround, And the best bit of rust, the Entire circumference of the roof, the roof was only attached by a small section at the front. BlueKsev Posted August 16, 2011 Report Posted August 16, 2011 The seam welds on the fuel filler has to be the most common spot. Havent found a ke70 without rust under the filler cap as of today that hasnt already been fixed. If it doesnt have rust there its just lurking underneath the paint waiting haha Also the spot welds underneath the boot seal/ rubber usually get rust. My Ke is clean other then that though I'm lucky :) Quote
