4Age Timing Marks

hey everyone

 

I'm doing the head gasket on my 4agte corolla this week

 

and I would just like to confirm which marks the cam gears line up with when doing the timing belt?

 

any help would be greatly appreciated.

the little dot on the outside of the cam.

 

get the "big blue book" for 4age, its about 100mb has everything. its around for download.

are these the marks located on the inside of the timing cover?

White paint pen and put dots on belt and timing gears side by side then transfer those dots to the new belt if you're worried. If you've ever worked on European car's this is 100% necessary, cause they are on crack and I've had a car that's manual didn't reflect reality that I was forced to time by ear.
