Tiger Posted September 20, 2005 Author Report Posted September 20, 2005 (edited) Alot have told me to go the interior actually. I personally ain't the fan of airbrushed interiors... as to me it is pure overkill. Having said that... some light stripe work here and there wouldn't go astray... or embossed tigers into the seats at random spots. Got that idea from Auto Image with my mates car. He is a HUGE Soundstream Freak and he got the Tarantula emblem from Soundstream (which is car audio related) embossed into the seats, dash and everywhere. I thought about vinyl on the outside, however over time it will fade and I know it has it's pros about being replaceable or if not... removeable. The different color idea was neat.. either a a dark brown, perhaps something subtle like a light grey so you have to go up close and see the stripes... who knows... I'm throwing around ideas and just getting feedback from everyone it, so keep the ideas rolling... Thanks for the input to date  Edited September 20, 2005 by Tiger Quote
Dan Posted September 20, 2005 Report Posted September 20, 2005 What I meant by fook stripes is the painted bonnet sort of thing, like A9X. Bit of an identity problem it'd have but, with Ford and Holden aspects in the paint. On a Corolla. I take back what I said before, just leave the thing as it is. Go troppo on the interior. Quote
Tiger Posted September 20, 2005 Author Report Posted September 20, 2005 Well, taken into consideration what you said... it reminds me of what got done to Sloth Jnr's rolla.. with the stripes over the car.... that's what you meant? Quote
Dan Posted September 20, 2005 Report Posted September 20, 2005 I wasn't around to see his Rolla. I reckon that copy Fooks idea with the A9X front end. Forget what I said about Mach 1 stripes, they'd look good for a while then you'll get sick of them, at least on such a small car... Quote
Tiger Posted September 20, 2005 Author Report Posted September 20, 2005 Sloth's ride... check out the stripe work Quote
ancullen Posted September 20, 2005 Report Posted September 20, 2005 If you are determined to have Tiger stripes, then get them done in a colour almost the same as your Tiger Mica, but maybe two shades darker. That way it won't stand out and look ridiculous like the tiger Porsche, and you'll have to look at it from a certain angle to see the stripes, but it'll still give a great tigery impression. Quote
ancullen Posted September 20, 2005 Report Posted September 20, 2005 Oh yeah, and either do them this way all over, or don't do any. Quote
Tiger Posted September 20, 2005 Author Report Posted September 20, 2005 Ancullen.... I am really starting to like that idea!!! Hmmm... that shade lighter... you reckon with a little metallic running through it? Bit a "bling" in the paint? Quote
Rolln16 Posted September 20, 2005 Report Posted September 20, 2005 Hey! who suggested the lighter colour idea in the first place........geez... I think that you should just think about what you would like to be seen in... an over the top sort of car or a sleeper... i still like the idea of having the tiger stripes in the lighter colour but in patches over the car... that way you really have to look for them and its a lot more impressive because people will think that you have gone to a lot more trouble than just slapping some stripes on your car... (at least thats my op) Both ideas are good though... so long as you don't go black stripes... and maybe you could think about having some subtle pin-tigerstripes mixed with the others.... your choice though... :P Quote

Sorry. Whether the Tiger stripes should be lighter or darker doesn't really matter much. Maybe just the same colour as what you've got, but with less red in it, so it's more of a gold colour. Quote
Rolln16 Posted September 21, 2005 Report Posted September 21, 2005 mmm... (picturing in head) sounds nice... kudos for that idea ancullen... Quote
Tiger Posted September 21, 2005 Author Report Posted September 21, 2005 Rolln16 and Ancullen have done it again... I'm liking both the ideas :P Good work, agents.... now for your next assignment..... Nah... just kidding! Well done.. I think I know what I'm gonna do from here... thanks for the input from EVERYBODY  Quote
rjenman Posted September 21, 2005 Report Posted September 21, 2005 KE50... this one ain't bad... Many ideas to consider... minus the tiger's head, i think this design could work well Quote
Tiger Posted September 21, 2005 Author Report Posted September 21, 2005 Me too... I was looking more at the dual layer effect... and the colors... Quote
