Went to supernats on the weekend and had a bearing or bushing collapse in the gearbox, ʞ©$ɟ all damage tho...Car still drives, but there is a bit of movement in the rear of the box where the tailshaft goes in, you can grab the tailshaft and move it around in the rear housing.. Box will come out for further inspection at als race glides and whatever has failed will be fix, and a transbrake will be fitted :) also will be looking at getting the motor issue sorted some time in the next few weeks there will be a vid of a top gear skid coming soon Quote

13bke26 Posted December 2, 2012 Author Report Posted December 2, 2012 ok car has now gone into the shop and out of my hands...plan is mildported motor, new box from als race glides and body work and paint to be completed....Engine should be out this week and car rolled down to paint shop... 13bke26 Posted December 7, 2012 Author Report Posted December 7, 2012 Well went to see how its all going today, At VIS Rotary, had a look at the motor and found why the engine would over heat alll the time... Confirmed water seal blown and water jacket on the end plate has a little damage but nothing that can't be fixed.. Other then that its all good :) Box is now at als, converter is going to slingshot to get loosened up and upped to 3800rpm.. Went to the paint shop where the car is, its all stripped ready for body work.. Attacked the rust on the roof and it isnt as bad as we thought but we are going to cut it out and weld a new piece in .. Been given a rough eta of 2-3 weeks and it will be painted..hopefully.. 1 Quote
