Today the bootlid and taillights were test fitted, the rear had to be knocked out a bit (old block of wood and sledge hammer trick).

Bootlid fits like a charm, knocked back the surface rust and a bit of body filler here and there..

A light coat of primer to keep the surface rust at bay till repairs resume next weekend..

Meanwhile, Matt was busy rubbing back all the bits that were previously undercoated..

The damn cold rainy weather made them blush on the first coat, so we stuck them under the heat lamp. Not too bad considering =)

Lower control arms were done next.

Then the struts.
