Teddy Posted April 13, 2008 Author Report Posted April 13, 2008 Here are the pics. Sorry for the delay. sTORY tIME !!! Once apon a time, there lived a 'le cheeze. This monster never awoke on weekends before the PM hours, and can often be persuaded with selected species of spirits. "Ugh.. RARrrrrrr" mumbel mumbel burrrr' After awaking the wilderbeast, we discovered a rare bread of vehicle. Covered in dust, we assumed it had been there for a long time. And thus, the adventure of the blue car continues. Todays chapter will reveal lots of fiddely tasks, rough edges and annoying ends all finished off. A - IT Diagnostics terminal mounted on hand made bracket. Well, it was off a daihatsu at one point, but we wont tell anyone else :lolcry: B - Washer bottle wire re-located. Foam pad started to come off, crummy strength C - Fuse n plug relocated behind coil with new bolt. Looks swavo D - Re-routed some of the wiring, finished it off a little. E - Finished locating the air temp wire(s). :) F - New clamp for overflow hose G - New over flow hose H - Emitions lines replaced with new lines, old ones looked tinged and faided. Re-routed into a cleaner looking position I - Carbon canister re-located and plumbed in. Custom mounts made, see other pics below J - New heater tap installed / R&R It was made evident that no normal mount would do the job for the such an important piece of equipment for our atmosphere, Look at this lil cracker that was whiped up for the right hand side of the canister. (One side of canister mounted into chassy rail, other onto this rubber-style mount ) More Pics below Painted last weekend, it turned out quite nice. A simple flat black was more than enough. Plumbed the pipes back in as required, mounted it up. Walla. It cannot be seen, but i had to run some new line for the fuel tank breather (for carbon canister); bit of a view from under the belly of ze-beast A Random shot, presenting excellent amounts of straight chrome. Another Random shot, apart from the thick dust on the side of the vehicle, Note the perfectly straight, chermside-shopping center-free car park dints. Mmmm Showing the world, what it has already seen. So, whilst i was playing clips and hoses, I had my Mexican slave all chained up and working hard, as per usual. His task on hand this glorious weekend was to "Re-bling the JDM". Highly recommend this slave for work, as apart from small tanties when he cannot find tools, usually lost by myself, his work is 2nd to none. After many hours work, and using his sweat as the lubricant for the wet and dry on the 1200 Grit SP, The results were fantastic. Feeling extra paparazzi, armed with my new fuji, i set out to take some happy shots of the inside. Anyone say Burpengary-Road-Kill, then died black and put into the back of my car ? :P Similarities between glove box and seat? swede velor much? After many hours and words exchanged, the mexican wilderbeast and i set off, and so far ends this chapter of "The Blue Car" F - I - N Quote
Kid-Ae Posted April 13, 2008 Report Posted April 13, 2008 one three letter word can be used to describe this car JDM! :) Quote
