Finish off dash - Make plastic acrylic covering mold, then get sent away to be made into acrylic (need to measure holes for digital clock and speedo odom reset) - Create gauge mounting cups for gagues to sit in behind dash thats been made - Mount gauges for test fit, mark and remove - Make the LED concole assemblies for the lights (converting to LEDS; make up mind on what part is what colour and what strength) - Install the LED backng for the lights, purchase and install lights, get jason over to help with wiring :hmm:) - Finish off blacking out the dash - Final install the gauges - Test wiring, make sure its all ok; make sure it can be unpluged at centeral location for dash instalation and removal - Tint the new purspex window (that covers the hole lot); test for darkness - Seal & Install new window covering - Final check over - Remove entire assembly and store untill put into vehicle Fuel System - Repaint bottom of fuel tank as scratched badly. Clean out inside of tank. - Paint top of fuel sender unit - Paint straps for fuel tank, clean up 2x rubbers. Clean up pins and hooks. - Finish mounting brake and fuel lines underneath, paint 1 more clip and install - Get the connections of Ant. for fuel system, the correct ones :) - Useing the newly ADR approved fuel neck filler for unleaded fuel, Paint then install onto tank. hand brush Paint the 8x bolts for it as well. - Get new fuel pipe & clamps from tank to lines. Install pipes and connections; Install fuel tank. Connect up and install straps. - Connect up fuel rail and fuel lines up front. Purchase new fuel filter and install. - Check return line & breather line ok; paint and install carbon canister in engine bay accordingly. (away from airbox); pipe up using new 5mm spegiti black hose. Brake System - Once brake and fuel lines pipes underneath have been installed; - Install diff to body brake line (Source a new one) - Clean up, re assemble and install front calipers and brakepads - Install front brake lines from struts to body - Remove Brake m/ cyl and clutch m/ cyl. Bench bleed. - Paint front brake metal lines; install. Same with clutch line to gearbox. (install clutch slave as well) - Carefully install brake and clutch m/ cyls. - Bleed system, using about 20 million L's of brake fluid :lolcry: - Brake and clutch - Handbrake - Attach the 2nd mounts underneath for celica handbrake cables. Paint. - Mount handbrake cables, Install inside mech. Adjust and check. 3 to 5 clicks. Cooling system - Purchase Ae86 Radiator - Mount and install radiator - Gather and install custom radiator pipes - Install heatercore inside - Install new heater pipes - Install new thermostat - Make custom mounts for thermofan; install thermofan - Turn heater flap to open, and pressure down-fill the system. Check for leaks. Intake system - Mount EP92R Airbox. Measure and find connecting pipe accordingly. Make proper intake for airbox (custom 1 off) Exhaust System - Clean up, polish extractors and exhaust pipe. Paint exhaust thats not polishable chrome silver (approraite grade paint for temps :yes:) - Install exhaust system Note: exhaust needs CAT and pipe over diff; need to get it to an exhaust shop, and will bother about it when i get to this step. Motor - Make and install cold idol plate - Connect up intake manifold and pipes. - Replace Spark plugs, Dizzy Cap, Leads. - Remove, clean up, paint and re-install cam cover. New sticker for 4age. - mmm more to add here. Brain fart, can't think :P Wiring (motor) - Clean up wiring, Install wiring over motor. and onto inside. - Process of cleaning up and installing (Wiring is correct, as i drove the car in before we striped it :P) Dash - Install entire dash; wiring and all for the dash ONLY. - Mount ECU accordingly. Note : Aircon will be put in later on once car is rego'ed and all. Accessories: - Bumpers to be put on last, to protect them. - Clean up and redo twinheadlight front end setup. Clean up and paint mounts. - Install tail lights, fender lights, front lights.. etc - Install body molds where applicable - Install new door rubbers / boot rubber / chrome accessories . Finish puting doors back together inside. - Wiring (body) - Install body wiring. Replacing Firewall gromets and body gromets where appliciable. Clean up if nescessary Interiour - Install new interiour Spanner check entire car. mmm think thats basically it. too Tyred to think any more :P Quote
Fat Bastard Customs Posted January 15, 2007 Report Posted January 15, 2007 first of all, NICE!!! second, with the radiator, as an idea, ST165 celica is the same size (frontal area) as a sprinter rad but its double the thickness. Same mounting points and all, not sure about inlet/outlet positions tho. Also comes with twin thermos that bolt up and look nice and stock :P just a thought :) Quote

Few small updates. - Sending plastic from dash away to get molded next week (acrylic clear cover ) - Got new boot rubber. Checking balley chanel rubber, as i now have samples :y: (slight complecations) - Got 4x L of tectol .. love the rust prevention goooooob ! - Got the last 2x genuine fender blinkers in AUS (possibly the world) for a ke70. Stoked !! - Tomorrow, going to install fuel tank and paint a few more brake lines up front. Yee Haa !!!! Quote
