SUTTO Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 hey all finally got myself a ke70 after months of looking and begging to buy one of a few people around town... it was a ladys daily driver until the auto blew up so she paid someone 1500 to replace it and when she got it back it was no better than before...so i ended up getin a hold of it...and now the auto is all out and the manual s ready to bolt in...should be all done by the end of the week...its a sweet as motor clean and runs smooth as...will be gettin stripped of its polution gear and will get all the usual backyard mods to squeeze every last horsepower u can get outa a 4k motor... interior is half stripped already and i just got my welder to so ill have a go at making a half cage ;) and if i can find sum ma61 wheels they'll be on there to.. well heres a pic ... c what ya reckon.... Its only done 54000 miles from new with one owner ;) Future Mods: This is my daily driver as I have a drift spec s14 silvia thats a bit thursty for running to work, so engine mods will be kept to a filter and exhaust for now but may put twin 40s on it at some point! It is gonna look the part though with polished dished wheels (minilights will do for now), lowered AE86 suspension, twin headlights and a few other retro parts! Wheels & Tyres: some 13x6 steelies on the front and some ssr 14x7.5 3 piece wheels on the back Interior: stock except for mazda 6 mps front seats, rest of it is overrated (less thank 50k on clock) oh and has a tacho dash Body: chrome bumpers going on, but tan, bonnet and boot will soon be brown. Other: I just love it, and have some more big plans for it, have been working on it for roughly 9 days. other stuff coming soon like cam gears carbs better zorst, wantanabes, bolt on flares, t4 4 links and crap. cars aim is 70% daily fun hack, 30% track weapon. After much searching I have just bought my first corolla.. (well first car actually) Bought it off an old guy who had to sell it cos his wife was to old to drive manny! Its a White 1983 4spd CS KE70, Its in pretty good nick, nice paint, clean interior and NO RUST!! I'm pretty happy with it! Its stock standard atm and i want 2 put some wheels on it, chop the springs etc. I will post sum pics tonight when i get my new digital camera. :y: Quote

velociTOY Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 Ke70 back to the "splitter" and then the S-series-ones from there. the toyotadealer over here never came up with the right parts for the S-axle when I rebuildt it, so something seems to be weird here. But it says S-series on the chassisnumber-plate in the TE71, and the diff is about 6,35" so I guess it is an S-series. Quote
