7K Ke70 Turbo

Considering putting a 7k in a ke70 and chucking a turbo on it,

Would it be worth it? And how much would it cost roughly

man search but a 7k will set u back 1500 to 2k straight up then carby or fuel injected fuel systems are diff for both what sorta turbo. what have u worked out for urself so far.

I've worked out absolutely nothing, had no idea a 7k would cost that much.

I'm probably better turboing a 4age if that's the case

just get a gze and turbo it that way u wont have to spend as much money

BS. 7k's don't cost that much. I've seen complete motors with the fuel injection, ex manifold and ECU go for under $1k.

The only reason I went with 7k turbo is because I thought it would be cheaper

Go to Just Wrecking Toyota's at Wingfield - last time I checked they were able to quote on low km short & long 5K's and 7K's.

 

From memory a long 7K (carby) was going to set me back about $700 or $800. I've bought a low km import motor from there before and they were good to deal with.

What sort of turbo would you recommend?

A T28 would be pretty nice on a 7k. Reckon a T25 would be verging on too small. TD04L's off WRX's are also good turbos for K's.

just sayin i got quoted from 1400 upwards exchange for a 7k yesterday man don't snap at me yeah bargains come and go but arnt always there
