thatdude Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 Basically I'm looking at front strut and brake upgrade for my ke70 sedan, thats cheap (as in stuff i can get a upullit). Just a few questions i would like some answers on please. the RA 40 celica front struts are they same insert diametions of the ae86 and xt130. The RA40 lca are the same length of the xt130 correct? Also do the RA60 hubs and calipers bolt to the ra40 strut. Quote

springersrolla Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 i have a set of what i can determine are ra40 struts, it has 260x21mm vented rotors with twin piston sumitomo calpipers that are running ra40/60/mx62 brake pads with ford corsair king springs. i never built this setup only found it in the ke35 i bought... what makes the ra40 setup unsafe?. the car has the ra40 lcas, steering knuckles and bolts straight into the strut tops Quote
