Hi there,

Thinking (very indecisivly)about selling my one of a kind, unmodified, 1982 KE70 Toyota Corolla Panelvan.

After returning back from overseas, & uncovering my little car after the 12months it had not been driven, i am considering selling my pride & joy. This awesome little panelvan, I assume, must be some kind of import. I have never seen another with the "Custom Sport" logos & strips. I also don't know if this "paint" scheme came from Toyota like this, but have no idea about it. Plus a few other little indifferences I have seen with other KE70's, door handles, chrome bumpers, also the roof racks/basket, which I havent seen on any model corolla, anywhere.

This car is very, very straight for its age, low kms (200,000), & minimal rust. A few dots have appeared on the passengers door, other than that I cannot see any rust above or below (which is extremely hard to find of this vintage. The paint is not show quality, but still not bad either. Has been touched up around the the odd spot by previous owner, with what looks like a paint brush. But everything above the door handles is quite schmik.

I have had the windows tinted ultra dark & fitted a cd player with 7x10's in the rear door. Other than that, just regular servicing & oil changes. The car, since I have owned it, has only done about 10,000kms. Other than that, hasnt skipped a beat, except I think the battery needs repalcing after sitting for so long.

This morning It passed a blue slip, save for a new pair of wiper blades, & I'm still in two minds whether I should register & keep. or sell with the blue slip. Tyres have all got loads of tread (fronts near new) on some tidy old school speedy alloys. I also replaced the original 4spd with a 5spd box. The only thing that really makes me second guess the sale is I know, I will never be able to find a car like this ever again. It is such a unique, cool little car to drive. Its hasnt got your big spoilers, loud exhausts & cut springs, but thats what I like about it. The uniqueness without the show-off factor.

Just wanted to show you guys & see what you all think. If anyone has any more info on the "Custom Sport" & exactly what it is & what it may be worth?? (to the right buyer obviously)

Any questions, answers or info, please reply!!

Cheers,

Mark

ps. Not the best photos (sorry)

Very cool ride man, but I don't think EOI's fly around here. Your either selling or your not. If you were and I wanted it i'd offer you $3000-$4000 for it only because it would cost me $1000 to get it shipped up to QLD.

I'd say imported or a prize car from the '82 Wheel Of Fortune!!!!!!!

I have never seen any decals like that before. super retro styling!

I noticed your RHS tail light is from a 4dr wagon (its missing the black surround)and the LHS is a proper panelvan light.

Your rear bumper has a dint in almost the exact same spot as my bumper :P
