wagon80 Posted October 10, 2010 Author Report Posted October 10, 2010 yeah right ill keep that in mind man cheers Quote
Locky. Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 Nistune is tried, tested and proven. Do it. Bang for buck, You can not go wrong. It's around $200 for a nisute board installed and You won't need a custom loom made to suit. I believe that He does road tuning for a reasonable $/hour rate or have it dyno tuned. I will be running a Nistune in My VL and in My CA corolla. Quote
ninja-philbo Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 simple way to put it is i hate afms they f@$k up way to much. and at the worst time. went from a nistune to a e8 adn gained 40kw with an identical tune and no afm Quote
ke70dave Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 well obviosly the tune wasnt identical. Â hot wire AFMs are very accurate metering devices. it is a what they call a "primary" metering device (i think). where as MAP is a secondary, because map isnt actually measuring the amout of air going into your engine, it is measuring the pressure and the ecu converts this reading into a air flow. and there will be some uncertainties associated with this conversion. Â not to mention that map is useless over ~10% throttle. gota rely on the TPS. Quote
ninja-philbo Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 still helped get muy does on. Quote
