hey all, ive that this thing for a year and a bit now. it has served me well as a second/weekender car but its time for and upgrade

sorry can't help there man my mate is doing it for me he is an auto elec but i can probs get him to take some photos of what gose were

Nistune is tried, tested and proven. Do it. Bang for buck, You can not go wrong. It's around $200 for a nisute board installed and You won't need a custom loom made to suit. I believe that He does road tuning for a reasonable $/hour rate or have it dyno tuned. I will be running a Nistune in My VL and in My CA corolla.

well obviosly the tune wasnt identical.

 

hot wire AFMs are very accurate metering devices. it is a what they call a "primary" metering device (i think). where as MAP is a secondary, because map isnt actually measuring the amout of air going into your engine, it is measuring the pressure and the ecu converts this reading into a air flow. and there will be some uncertainties associated with this conversion.

 

not to mention that map is useless over ~10% throttle. gota rely on the TPS.

cheers guys for the opinions much help.

update: just put in the ae71 padal box hope i never have to do one again.

engine wise nothing I'm still waiting for a rubber mount to come in the post its been 2weeks...

 

also just wondering if any one can help me?? i bought a ca18 fitting kit of a member on here called 'RED_GEM' and i am missing the rubbers that go between the mounts and the crossmember. wonder is any one knows a part number for then or what i could use instead or photo.. cheers
