towe001 Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 Been talking to some friends and they said about Lake Moogerah near Boonah. Having a look at the Lake Moogerah Caravan Park web page and http://www.queenslandholidays.com.au/accommodation/camping-and-caravans/lake-moogerah-caravan-park/index.cfm But both web site contradict each other with pricing. Going to have to ask our mate about the place again cause he reckoned there was free camping. Quote
Crowie55 Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 (edited) can't make new years. Maybe organise a cruise up near brissy and finish at a park with a bbq or something? rc QLD x-mas cruise  Edited November 22, 2010 by Crowie55 Quote

I suggested moogerah at the weekend but there is no chance of finding a spot over the xmas break as it is a skiing hot spot. Quote

Trev Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 Yeah i wondered if you did, i was going to ask about it but you got caught up talking to JiP about another place. Yeah trying for H/L & BB as it will be the club and whoever we invite as it is closed to the general public, I have to find out what is there still for facilities as I know it used to have dump toilets but that was 20 years ago and I will see if there is power, showers don't bother me as there is the dam. * BBQ Area * Disabled Access * Facilities for members with a disability * Launching Ramp - cement * Launching Ramp - sand * Member Parking * Rigging - lawn * Rigging - Sand Quote
