hello peoples just fitted a t series diff out of a ta22 i think, well pretty sure anyway into my ke30 2dr, i have previously fitted a ke55 tailshaft, huge compared to a ke30 tailshaft anyhow after fitting the diff i realised the tailshaft needed to be shortened because the t series center is longer (SPEWIN) so getting it shortened tomorrow for $120.

don't know why this happened, i thought all u have to do is swap brackets, mounts etc?? any1 come acrosss this issue?

Yes, T series diffs are longer and need a shorter driveshaft. Check your driveshaft flange if it fits the T diff  If not, find one that does before you shorten..

Assumption, the mother of all feck ups.

As mentioned, the T series being a front loader diff, the snout will be longer.

lol so tru what tailshaft would not need shortening?

doubt it will help you but some of the Te37s had T-diffs.. don't think any other shafts will be a direct fit
