Am I the only one reading this? :blinks:

Not at all, but knowing old fellas posts I'd say he's not serious, even says something like cheers for the laughs in his first post.

Mind you, glueing up the head gasket works a treat, I know of some speedway guys that used to do it as they kept popping gaskets. Never had trouble after that.

I always stick the oil cap in the bonnet latch thing so I can't close it without the oil cap being on, but stupid old Camry's that have f@$ked bonnet struts nearly broke one once :)

i used to work at a wreaking yard and every year we would have a motor-blow competition at christmas with alot drinks etc, just drain the water

its amazing how long some engines last, one year we had a honda prelude twin-carb motor that had been going for over 15mins and just wouldn't die, it was getting boring until we noticed the muffler glowing and then the bumper was on fire, so i calmly walked up and turned the ignition off, didn't change a thing so we had to get the fire extinguisher into the carb to stop it

did a few with no oil but they never lasted long and just seized
