hy-rolla Posted September 15, 2010 Report Posted September 15, 2010 i have a 36 wagon it has a 5k and ke55 breaks chandged wiring loom to suit breaks alternator ect but the horn don't work i have checked the horns on another corolla and steering wheel and they both work fine but not on my one and also have changed the intercator/wiper stalk still nothing all fuses are working what is left to check??? Id be checking that there is a good contact between the horn button and the steering wheel its self, have you taken the wheel off recently? it would be somthing to do with that if your saying youve definatly taken the horn out and tested it. B.L.Z.BUB Posted September 15, 2010 Report Posted September 15, 2010 I suggest a voltmeter. Find out if you are even getting power where you need it. Its such a good tool to have. I can scan and email you a wiring diagram out of my manual if you want. Quote

Evan G Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 go off a earth off the engine or chassis, then probe both terminals to the horn, you should get 12v at both. if you put power to it does it work? go neg on one terminal of the horn and pos to the other, disconnect the horn and see if you get 12v when held down, if not the horn switch is f@$karo Quote
