Trev Posted September 12, 2010 Author Report Posted September 12, 2010 i think its an excellent idea, what sort of range do you think yourd get out of a wireless door bell thing? you could proably use one of the wires going to the dome light that way you have one wire working with all 4 doors?? i like it,9 iron is good but i prefer my samurai sword :jason: Had one at my parents house where we would lock the back door and go out the back yard, would of been a good 70m of range. That is why I said to make sure it works with all doors, I am lucky with the AE82 as I can hook it into the dash door light that works with all 5 doors. Quote

Trev Posted September 12, 2010 Author Report Posted September 12, 2010 ahh yeah awesum, guess with some of the older cars you could use the wiring from the dome light ,rather than trying to hook up 4-5 seperate triggers, What I mean by make sure it works with all doors is that the door earth trigger normally goes up the B or A pillar and on the 82 it is a 4 into 1 wire so even though you connect it to one then you should be getting a signal from all of them.
