4k is back in just getting me around for the moment.

 

found the problem with the 5k as soon as the head came, a random nut made its way into the piston chamber thingo. (diagram will explain)

 

which was stopping the number 1 piston going all the way to the top and sparking. (which is why the crank wouldnt turn)

 

everything thing else is fine and not chipped/broken/cracked so the 5k should be getting dropped back in this weekend :)

hey mate, while you have the head off. poor kero into intake and exhaust ports of the cylinder witch had nut inside of it, then check the valve and see if theres fluid leaking out

 

leaking = bent valve or damaged seat/guide

 

no leaking = all good mate

 

edit - if the nut was that big howd it get in there? wouldnt have gone down the valves?

not to sure on that one, it must have come though the valves.

 

because there is absolutly no room to come from underneath the piston and there was no damage to the piston cylinder wall

walking through my garage I found a Kamei front lip that i purchased from Little Red Spirit for my kesev a while back.

 

well one thing lead to another, 2 minutes later i was playing around with sticky tape and different mounting locations and finally got happy.

i think it maybe a little to 'square' for this rounder shape car.

but maybe if the lip was black or would set it off alot more.

who knows? what do you think?

Anyway today my car got kicked out of the garage. It was decided that my uncles race car parts obtain more value.

theres a decent racespec volvo engine that has been worked to the shit house ;) have been dreaming of putting that into my car.

 

but obviously i can't :( he also brought round his spare air compressor for me to use which sweetened the deal

exhaust got some muched loved attention today, love angled twin tips <3

also painted my wheels cream. f@$k I'm retarted. cream with the white roof racks looks shit.

and the gaskets i need came today some the 5k will be in this weekend :)
