that looks bloody amazing, the whole thing. if it goes missing one night, don't come looking in my carport :P

Wont the rust eventually eat through the paint into the hoods metal?

thanks man, well its just rusting onto the metal at the moment, so yeah eventually it will make a hole through,

 

i think if i spray a clear coat lacquer on it, air will stop hitting, to slowing the rusting process alot :blush:

Totally sweet mat, your nan has skills. Still have the roof racks on this contraption?

 

I removed the roof racks for now, they looked sweet with the whitewalls, but the paint wore off.

so the white roof racks just looked weird :blush: they go back on when i get fake whitewall flappers

 

btw guys i changed my wheel corlour somehitn different, a matte samon pink. haha looks sweet with the black paint and little bit of red in the signage, also running the chrome trim

got a picture from the internet and made stencil from it, so printed it, and cut it, and painted it :)

5k is in and running, she started first go which suprised the shit out of my dad.

we were abit worried about the ticking noise when it first started up. But it soon faded away and ran real smooth.

 

heres a videos of the start up and it idling smooth 2 minutes later and just some pics :)

how sweets our home made engine crane :P
