Ke55 Coupe - First Car!

WELL - I know everyone's sick of hearing me complain and blab. So here's some actual information.

 

Over the past few months I've been doing alot of research. Now the plans have changed.

Progress has been slow due to just the not knowing of where I'm headed with the project but now I've sorted that out.

 

First of all the body side of things. I've discovered alot of rust/dings that I wasn't expecting, well not this many. Most of it is cut out and new patches will be welded in by the end of next week (Mig)

The little dings I will be attempting to fix with the good ol' dolly set, hammers, slap spoons. It should be a fair challenge and hopefully it turns out ok. I've also got a few little surprises/uniqueness things that I'm doing to hopefully make the car more 'mine.'

 

Mechanical - I'm not saying to much now from fear of judgement haha. Except the K is out the window, and the diff is also...Just keeping it all on the downlow haha.

 

But of course the best part...even though they're nothing special I still like to look at her haha - PICS:

And that's about all, I just felt like posting this because it usually makes me get to work on the car! Good motivation seeing how lazy you've actually been...d'oh!

nice car man, i have the same model just i have the square headlight, i am doing mine up for my first car and have just finished redoing my engine it looks pretty nice. i like what ur doing with it can't wait for the finished project ;) see ya
