AJC Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 (edited) Hi Guys, I have started to have a problem with the indicators with my ke10. Indicating left it blinks fine. Indicating right the indicator light stays on and does not blink anymore. This is indepenedent of whether the motor is on etc... I have gone around and replaced all globes on the car fairly recently. All the light globes for the right indicator are working fine. I understand that the indicator circuit works on a timing circuit and requires the correct resistance - i.e all light globes to be working to time the blinking. Does the indicator circuit use the same timing circuit for indicating left and right? - if so I assume this would indicate a problem with possibly an earth or something funny at one of the right indicator points. Any other suggestions or fault finding assistance someone can provide? Does anyone have a circuit diagram? thanks, Anthony Edited August 25, 2010 by AJC Quote
ke70dave Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 have you located the flasher unit itself? sounds like it may have 2 seperate relays (for left and right) and your right one may be on the blink (pun intended!) Quote
LukeAE71 Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 I had a similar issue in my KE11. The flasher can wires just needed to be plugged back in properly (loose connection). Try that first see if it works. Quote
