Easiest Engine Swap To Ke10

Hi there. Just startting on my KE10 projekt in to wich i want to put a bigger engine. What is the easiest swap possible? Engien and tranny wise.

5k with a k50 5 speed.

Dead right- Start looking for the best one you can find Finn, and grab a few mods like carb/extractors off here while you wait to get a good one.

5k/5 speed with side draft weber's and extractors would be nice.

Finland. The southwestern area to be exact. I have had tis car for about 5 years and managed to paint it, but then then there was a little conflikt with the onvwer of the garage so it has now been standing outside for about 4 yeas.

What other engines fit directly to the 5k transmission??

All of the K series engines will fit K 2K 3K 4K 5K and 7K.

 

The 7K is the biggest and most modern.

 

That's about the limit of it. You can fit other gearboxes to K engines though, as there are some adaptor bellhousings that allow you to do this (so you can upgrade the Box to the tougher T or K series boxes)

Keep in mind the 7K is physically bigger and requires some mods to fit. Plus it is not that easy to find one.
