Evan G Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 i belive the red stuff isnt the stuff were surpose to use in out 4k, there only used in systems with alloy radiators (i think) 4k allways green Quote
altezzaclub Posted August 21, 2010 Author Report Posted August 21, 2010 Ah- and a Type B coolant?? I'm using the first one, the green concentrate, and looking at whats left in the bottle it must be very concentrated in the car! Quote
Andy43 Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 Interesting point. Where running a rear mounted aluminium radiator on a KE30 with a 3k. What type should we be using ? Andy Quote
rob83ke70 Posted August 22, 2010 Report Posted August 22, 2010 basic rule of thumb: green does everything, red does only aluminium radiators. check each manufacturer's specific guidelines before using. red apparently lasts a lot longer. I don't think any of them last as long as they make out to be without having some sort of drama like water pumps or gaskets leaking. Robert. Quote
