B-Rad Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 Hey I pulled my engine down due to blowing smoke. As I though time for new rings. But I went to get a set of rings and I found out that ACL have sold up and have moved over seas. I can't find any. So I was told it might be easier to get a new set of ring and pistons. I currently run 20' over so maybe time for a set of 40'. Any help with finding some would be great. B Rad Quote

RainWarriorDregs Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 i just got 20thou oversized for my 4k. should be easy man, i made one phonecall to my parts man and he had them in 4 days. good times. Quote
philbey Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 ACL were great to deal with, I dunno why the issues. 5K ones were easy to get and they weren't even sold in the Aus domestic market. Mahle make the pistons, ACL are the distributor for them. Call ACL's number. Quote
Andy43 Posted August 12, 2010 Report Posted August 12, 2010 Do a search on ebay for a bloke called enginebalance, He always has pistons and stuff, but dosn't list everything he's got. I just got a set of 3k pistons and rings off him for $60 plus postage, I just private messaged him and had no problems. cheers Andy Quote
